In 2011 Barrhead Travel celebrates 36 years of independence and customer excellence. From humble beginnings as a small travel agency in Barrhead (Glasgow), the company is now respected brand in UK and beyond.

Offering great service before, during and after a customer's journey has ensured loyal and repeat customers while innovation, creativity and imagination stimulates our customers and partners expectations and ensures a high profile in the marketplace.

Employing over 500 colleagues, the company has a turnover in excess of £135 million. The company has constantly outperformed the market by providing better-priced holidays and Business Travel solutions partnered with extremely high levels of service.

The company has consistently grown through innovation and entrepreneurial flair. In the early days when travel companies were focusing on expanding into multiple high street locations, Barrhead Travel focused on offering its customers increased levels of service by opening till late 7 days a week and offering customers the choice of being able to book their travel in store, by the phone, a call Centre and online.

The corporate travel management division, led by Stephen McGuire manages business travel of many blue chip companies including government bodies and academic institutions throughout the UK.
